When we were kids, we were advised to dream big. We can be whoever we want to be as long as we give our best and hope for the success. The secret as they always say is never ever give up and when we feel that problems are so big, we must learn how to bend and later on spring back and face everything. Sometimes, all our dreams seem to be so far but if we really push through, if we never give up, we can still get what is the best for us.
Simple dreams can go a long way. Remember when you were just small and you used to wear your mom’s landau scrub pants she often use at the hospital during her surgeries, it all started those small dreams of becoming like her, becoming one of the renowned doctor in your country. As you learn to face the world and face the choices of what career to pursue, go back to that time when you were dreaming of becoming one of the doctors and if you feel that you can’t study that hard or you are so impatient, just give yourself to assess what you really want.
There are many problems that you could face. One is financial problems. There are many kids who have the dream of becoming big but because of poverty or lack of support of parents, they never push through with their dreams. Sometimes, they have to choose a job that will give them money to support their family. It is sad to say that many people find their selves in this situation. It is our advice that when you want something, just give your best and the universe will conspire for you to achieve your dreams. Another problem would be your personal patience and even diligence. Admit it; many people get tired of studying hard. But you have to remember that the best part of your diligence is achieving your goals. So study hard in order to achieve your goals. Another hindrance is when you become unfocused. This could be brought by so many interests that you tend to forget what is important among your goals. Of course, learn to prioritize.
Even though you have already grown up and seem that you are about to give up your dreams, take a time to talk to yourself and decide what you really want in your life. You can really reach your goals as long as you don’t give up and you keep on pursuing your ambitions. Listen to the child in you and reminisce those times that you were so eager to reach out for your goals.
Who knows, someday you might wear your very own landau scrub tops at your own surgery. Just have faith in your dreams and never give up. Learn to persevere in your goals and you will never go wrong. Most of all learn to trust yourself and believe that you can make it.
